The Peter J Isola Foundation is delighted to announce the success of its 6th Annual Charity Padel Tournament, which raised £5,000 in support of Bruce’s Farm. The centre plays a key role in Gibraltar’s wider public health approach to prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery.
Thirty-three teams participated at the Sotogrande Racket Centre, which once again hosted the Tournament as the premier Padel Centre in the region.
Peninsula Petroleum claimed victory, with Lara Saez Fernández and Javier Aldana defeating Charlie Isola and Amos Federico, representing Anglo Hispano, in a closely contested final.
Everyone enjoyed a well-deserved barbecue and drinks after the presentation of prizes to the winners.
Peter Isola, Trustee of the Peter J Isola Foundation, presented the donation to Bruce’s Farm and commented: “The Peter J Isola Foundation is proud to stand behind our community, and events like these are a fantastic way to come together, enjoy friendly competition, and make a real difference.”
Giselle Carreras, Head of Therapeutic Services of the Care Agency, along with Clare Hunter, Acting Therapeutic Lead for DARS, and Paul Bush, Homes Manager and Registered Social Worker, attended the presentation on behalf of the Care Agency.
Giselle Carreras said:“We are sincerely grateful for this donation. Fundraising for services such as ours can be challenging, and this support will help us expand the services we are able to offer to those who rely on us.”
The Foundation thanked all participating teams for their continued support, reinforcing its commitment to funding and promoting local charitable initiatives.
